I’ve recently rediscovered Netflix after a few years of not using it and I’m loving finding little gems on it! I’ve come across some really good new movies while also re-watching some old favourites. Below I’ve listed some of my top favourites in the hopes you might find something to watch for that lazy Sunday off.
10. The Notebook

It wouldn’t be a movie list if The Notebook wasn’t on it!! Grab the tub of ice cream, get comfy on the couch, and get ready to swoon over Ryan Gosling!
9. Juno

Dealing with the trials and tribulations of a teenage pregnancy, Juno has its happy ending with several twists along the way that will make you giggle and feel good all in one.
8. Up!

After you make it through all of the emotions the first 10 minutes bring you, you can sit back and completely fall in love with a storyline full of heartwarming moments and adventure, and who could forget Doug the dog!
7. The Holiday

Who else dreams of going on a random holiday to an unknown place and ending up finding the love of your life?!
6. Mamma Mia

Singing, dancing, all that glitter, AND Colin Firth, all on a beautiful Island? I’m in!
5. The Princess Diaries 1&2

Who else wished their grandmother would announce that she was secretly Queen of a Country you’d never heard of? Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldi, Princess (soon to be Queen) of Genovia is destined to marry Chris Pine…eh I mean Lord Nicholas Devereaux and we all know it! Plus, that transformation!!
4. Set It Up

I only discovered this movie recently but it’s quickly becoming one of my favourites! Setting up your bosses in order to have some time off may seem like a good idea at the time, but trust them, it’s not!
3. The Devil Wears Prada

Meryl Streep is impeccable in this movie (as she is in most movies)! If you ever want to find out what it’s like working in the fast paced fashion magazine industry, through the eyes of Hollywood of course, this is the movie for you. And let’s not forget about the amazing closet!!
2. Love Actually
It doesn’t matter what time of year it is, you can sit down and watch this feel good movie! The all-star cast, the Christmassy feel, and Hugh Grant shimmying across the hall, what more could you want?!
1. 10 Things I Hate About You
One of my all time favourite movies and one I’ll watch all year round! Heath Ledger going from bad boy to love struck teenage idiot along with (arguably) the most iconic speech of all time, I’m hooked!
And there you have it, 10 of my favourite feel good movies. Let me know what movies would be on your list!
